Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) Trainings:

SASED Cooperative will be offering Crisis Prevention Institute's (CPI) Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training for educators who directly intervene in crisis situations, teaching staff de-escalation techniques and restrictive and nonrestrictive interventions.  Staff will learn decision-making skills to match the level of the response to the risk of the crisis, focusing on the least-restrictive response to ensure the care, welfare, safety, and security of students. This includes recognizing the stages of an escalating crisis and learning evidence-based techniques to appropriately de-escalate. *Information retrieved from the Crisis Prevention Institute Website - www.crisisprevention.com

For the remainder of the school year, we will be offering a CPI training once per quarter.  The next training session is outlined below.  Please remember to go to the SASED website and fill out the Google Doc so we can plan accordingly.
