Conscious Discipline Training
The methodology of Conscious Discipline is based in scientific and developmental research. It is recognized by SAMHSA's National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices (NREPP).
Conscious Discipline is a social-emotional learning model with foundations in safety, connection and problem-solving. Conscious Discipline creates a compassionate culture and facilitates an intentional shift in adult understanding of behavior via the Conscious Discipline Brain State Model. It then provides specific brain-friendly, research-backed strategies for responding to each children's individual needs with wisdom. This highly effective approach is proven to increase self-regulation, sense of safety, connection, empathy and intrinsic motivation in both children and adults. Conscious Discipline has fostered a fundamental shift in thinking that empowers adults and children to be the change they want to see in the world.
Discover how Conscious Discipline empowers adults to impact children’s behavior via a transformational, trauma-responsive approach to self-regulation. This training will guide your exploration of evidence-based strategies by introducing the four key components for creating an emotionally, physically, and socially safe school environment primed for achievement, as well as techniques to remain calm in moments of chaos.
