January Professional Development Opportunities

Infinitec will be offering a morning and an afternoon workshop on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. The sessions are Have it Your Way with Google Chrome-Supports for Writing & Executive Functioning (Morning Session-8:30-11:30) and Expanding the Teacher's Toolbox for Students with Significant Disabilities (Afternoon Session-12:30-3:30) Please register using the link and bring a laptop or Chromebook with you to the hands-on workshop. On Friday, January 31, 2020 all psychologists, social workers and speech therapists are to attend the two hour workshop by Brandon Wright: A Deeper Look at Special Education Eligibility. This is offered at two different times so choose either the morning or the afternoon session. The training will be held at CACC in Activity Room A. Please use the link to register.

2020-21 Student Projections

Please make sure you complete your projections form and return to your Special Education Administrator on or before January 17, 2020. SLPs will return forms to Melissa Cory. Click on the link above to download the forms.

Holiday Open House

Mark your calendars! The SASED Holiday Open House is set for Tuesday, December 10, 2019, from 4:00-5:30 PM. Join us to celebrate our retirees, and service awards!


Be sure to go to your ELIS account to check on the expiration date and ‘registered thru’ date of your professional license. Renewals may be submitted by certified staff beginning April 1st. Paraprofessional endorsement renewals may be submitted beginning April 15th. Questions may be directed to Nancy at x.109.



The Inspirational Person of the Month for November is Rhonda Smith Devault, Para-Professional at Pawnee. She is always willing to "step-up" and help out in classrooms where needed. She is confident in her abilities. She is very professional, agreeable and pleasant to staff and students alike. "She's made a terrific effort to help me out with my student and I'm very appreciative."
