Our April Inspirational Person of the Month is Anna Burton, PT Supervisor. Anna is described as doing an outstanding job with the PT staff. She always looks at how to give students the best educational experience. She is personally connected in improving the whole student. She goes above and beyond in her job. Recently, on March 13, Anna was on her way to Petersburg and saw a car that had gone off the road and into the creek near Cantrall. She immediately stopped and went to the vehicle to assist the driver who was over 6 feet tall. She pried open the door and had to cut him out of his seatbelt and pulled him from the car. They had to wrap him in blankets to keep him warm until the ambulance arrived. What a hero!!!! Never missing a beat; when her staff called her, she asked for the Zoom link to the meeting that she was on her way to!!! SASED is so very fortunate to have such a caring person on their staff. Congratulations Anna!!!!!
