SASED Central has been my home for over 17 years. Home comes to mind as the staff is a family who cares for, educates, and nurtures the students in our care. The Structured Program was the beginning of my teaching at SASED. I have been teaching at the Middle School level for the last 15 years. Receiving my Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Illinois I soon realized that teaching was my path. I obtained my Special Education Certification from Eastern University. Along the way, I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. I have three children, Ryan (31), Lindsey (30), & Cole (23). I have two grandsons, Theo (2) & Emmett (3mths) & two granddaughters, Cameron (1.5) & Quinn (3mths). I have two dogs Miller (Goldendoodle) & Izzy (Puggle). They both love coming to school and the students are wonderful to them. Yoga is a passion and I teach in my extra time!
