Requiring Authoritative Intervention:
A law enforcement officer can take a youth who may be a Minor Requiring Authoritative Intervention (MRAI) into limited custody if the youth is:
a. absent from home without the consent of the parent or guardian or;
b. beyond the control of the parent or guardian and in circumstances which constitute a substantial or immediate danger to the physical safety of the minor.
A MRAI petition can only be filed if the minor refuses to return home and no other alternative placement can be found.

Stress:
Stress is a normal part of life. It can be positive or negative.
Many things cause stress: peer pressure; school; parents; children and
families in general; pets; and many other things. Stress is something that is felt inside of our bodies.
Stress happens when we react to the different events in our lives.
It is sometimes a feeling as simple as butterflies in the stomach, or
stress can show up as a headache or other body pain.
Often people can tell they are feeling stress when they cannot sleep or
sleep too much; they may eat more than they need to or not enough.
When people feel stressed, it is often difficult to cope with the
different things going on in their lives. Some other signs of stress may
include the following:
